Vetreria Oball in Murano

The famous Luigi Onesto master glassblower inspired his sons at an early age to join him in his atelier, Vetreria Oball. Fabio and Michele followed in their father’s footsteps and mastered the art of sommerso glassmaking. They inherited the courage to be creative and let their imagination run free.

Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once you grow up. – Pablo Picasso

The magic of the underwater sea life inspired the brothers to break the traditional rules of sommerso glassmaking and create something unconventional. They became inspiring artists, who aim to conquer new shores by stretching the boundaries of the 700 years old tradition of glassmaking in the islands of Murano.

The unique artworks created by the Fabio and Michele are three dimensional representations of sea life. These Murano aquarium sculptures capture the boundless magic of the sea. The artworks elevate the soul and give rise to thoughts of the infinite and the ideal.
